So today, I asked my friend Lauren about the requirements for making the varsity volleyball team. Basically during the tryouts, there will be someone spiking volleyballs at me and I must save them by diving, digging, rolling, and bumping of course. This will test how good of a defensive player I am to qualify as a libero (if there is not one already) and an opposite and side defense player. They’ll put me through a drill to see how well I can set a ball under given conditions while running, fun. I’ll most likely make a setter, but since I’m the second shortest on the team, I can’t exactly be a hitter.

Let’s hope I make libero or setter.

YOU’VE OBVIOUSLY NEVER BEEN TO MY SCHOOL. We’re eclectic and all, but I’d say 40% of the population is Asian! Only 2% are Filipinos with Viets being the minority group of 0.5%.
